Located on the western end of Aldine ISD, Hoffman Middle School has been affiliated with Houston A+ Challenge since it was named a Lamplighter School in 1997.
The school also became a prestigious International Baccalaureate school in 2008, with help from a Focused Impact grant for fine arts integration from Houston A+ Challenge. Arts electives continue to be a bright spot for engaging students at the school.
Combined with Caraway, over the next two years A+ will be working to improve achievement in literacy and numeracy for a total of 600 students in 5th through 8th grade in this Aldine feeder pattern.
